REF Consulting provides consultancy work in preparation for the next Research Excellence Framework (REF2029) in the UK.  Our consultancy advice is delivered exclusively by senior academics who have been members of REF sub-panels.  Many also have RAE panel experience.  Our assessment team includes former REF sub-panel members from UoA 3, 4, 5 & 6 including one panel member who served on REF2021.

Through our former company, REF2020 Consulting, we have 6-years’ experience of supporting 30 UK Universities from all mission groups in their preparations for the Research Excellence Framework (REF2021).  We offer assessment, strategic reviews and presentations aimed at delivering research excellence in your institution.

Consultancy work for research assessment exercises outside of the UK is also undertaken.
