REF Consulting provides consultancy work in preparation for the next Research Excellence Framework (REF2029) in the UK.  Our consultancy advice is delivered exclusively by senior academics who have been members of REF sub-panels.  Many also have RAE panel experience.  Our assessment team includes former REF sub-panel members from UoA 3, 4, 5 & 6 including two panel members who served on REF2021.

We have 10-years’ experience of supporting more than 35 UK Universities from all mission groups in their preparations for the Research Excellence Framework (REF2021 and REF2029).  We offer assessment, strategic reviews and presentations aimed at delivering research excellence in your institution. We also advise international Universities for their preparations in research assessment exercises modelled on REF.

Consultancy work for research assessment exercises outside of the UK is also undertaken.
